As my first act as a blogger, I'd like to introduce you to Maple, my home office companion. Maple is a dwarf rabbit that I took in after a neighbor let her go on the mean streets of Watertown, MA nine years ago. She likes to sit underneath my chair while I edit and occasionally headbutts my foot when she wants attention and/or more hay to munch on. Photos of her will likely appear regularly on this blog, in addition to posts about editing and writing, what I'm reading, and whatever else is floating through my mind at the moment.
